Summary: Another Great Pokemon Game!
Comment: In the beginning this game was easy but as the game played on it became more challenging. You choose to play as a girl or boy and the Pokémon you find help you on your missions. You can use them to clear passages, for travel, dig tunnels,etc.
The goal is to protect the Almia region from danger. There are special missions called quests. Overall, this is a fun game to play and hard to put down!

Comment: This game is way better than the first installment in the Pokemon Ranger series for the DS. It is very similar in terms of graphics and gameplay, yet offers significant improvements. For example, one doesn't need to circle their targets quite as furiously as before, which had previously led to blisters on my fingers. This one is slightly easier yet no less fun. Also, the ability to send certain special Pokemon over to the Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum games is a plus.

Comment: This pokemon ranger game is alot better than the original. All of the controls and everything are the same but the gameplay is enhanced. for isntance, when your capturing, if your styler doesnt make a full line or you need to pause for a second, which happens for me alot anyways if they're attacing the line, you dont loose all the progress you just did. the meter that you have to monitor how much more you need to capture them goes down slowly so you dont have to start all over again. The missions have more depth than before and I love the new quest feature. Every time you finish a quest you unlock more power for you styler.
All in all, this is an excellent game and I recommend to anyone who loves pokemon.

Comment: Wonderful game, it came quicker than I expected and in mint condition. What scared me was that this game would be borind but infact it gets into a twist as you're playing the game. I cannot tell you more but just play it for yourself and you will see what I mean. If your a true pokemon fan then you would play this.

In Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, you once again play as a Pokémon Ranger, working to help people, Pokémon and nature in a new area called the Almia Region. Players circle the Pokémon they want to catch by drawing circles around them on the touch screen. When you complete certain Quests, the Ranger Union awards you with power-ups, which add new upgrades and functions to your Capture Styler, allowing you to advance as you work to eventually become a Top Ranger (the most revered Ranger of all).

Special Powers, Weapons, Moves & Features
Use the Capture Styler to capture wild Pokémon. Once they are captured, wild Pokémon will follow the player around until their powers are used (either in a Poké Assist or a Field Move). - A Poké Assist is when the player uses an already captured Pokémon to help capture another wild Pokémon.
- A Field Move is when the player uses a captured Pokémon's power to clear an obstacle that blocks his way or perform any another helpful function with it.
