Comment: The price for both these cables is great. Just the USB cable itself is 20 dollars at the Sprint store. It fits the LG Rumor great. The cables work fine and look good

Comment: I got this to transfer music on my son's LG Rumor. The car charger was just a plus, not something I needed but nice to have I suppose. The CD that comes with it is not useful at all for the Rumor but I knew that. I checked it out anyway and sure enough no support for the Rumor and nothing on there of use anyway even if it did. The cable is able to transfer music however it does not also charge the phone. I was disappointed about that fact. I'm not sure why it doesn't but I'm sure it was plugged in properly. However, if you only need it to transfer data then the cable is fine.

Summary: Cable and car charger for LG LX260 Rumor
Comment: The cable and car charger for my LG Rumor (LX260) arrived on time and was basically what I was expecting. You can't beat the price and both items were in great condition and worked fine.
I didn't get any mileage from the included CD which contains ringtones and other stuff as well as web links for USB drivers for the cable from LG. The Rumor doesn't really require the driver if operating in mass storage mode since it behaves just like any USB flash drive. Using this mode, images and videos can be copied off the microSD card in the phone.
Images can even be placed on the phone as long as they are 176 pixels in width and placed in the DCIM\100LGCDF directory on the card. This is the same directory to place 3gp2 videos for playback on the phone.
I bought DataPilot for this phone to transfer my contacts and the USB driver from Susteen worked just fine with this cable.

Summary: Car charger/USB cable and disc for LG Rumor
Comment: Even though this product is relatively inexpensive, I was never the less disappointed. The car charger is wonderful, but the USB cable/disc DOES not work. I tried to contact the company through e-mail and after no response from the company, I searched for a customer service phone number to call. After googling it and finding one, I left a message and still have not received a call back in regards to my inquiry. After (trying to) installing the disc, I found that the LG Rumor product number is not even listed as a phone that can use this disc, then the program was unable to even "see" that I had a phone connected through USB cable.
