It just turned into a great phone holder. Customer Rating: Summary: You get what you pay for. Comment: After about two times of use the mini usb disconnected from the base. Which in turn slid inside the device which made it useless. Had to break the back off to get to some of the screws which held the base together. At which point I re-glued the USB, indicator light, and backing back onto their original positions. The initial glue used when it was assembled was some sort of hot-glue (Which does not hold for any amount of use). I used super glue, & have not had any problems with it since (Just make sure you have the usb plugged into your phone while you are re-glueing it back into place). Would suggest a different product for anyone who does not want a lot of hassel. Customer Rating: Summary: Poor construction, but I made it work. Comment: I also had the same problems. At first I didn't think the suction cup was going to work. It took 5 tries to get it to stick. The 3rd day I had it the plug pushed through the bottom. I had to use a knife blade to get it out. I put a little super glue around the edge and it seems to be working. Also, I thought the power cord was a bit short. I couldn't stretch it to place the unit to the left of my steering wheel. I'll keep using it until I find something better. If you do buy it, apply superglue around the USB power plug right away.
