Summary: Good Deal!
Comment: This was featured as one of those lightning deals. Good timing too, as I was looking for one. This is my first bluetooth head set and I am extremely satisfyed. Both the mic and speaker work with very good if not excelent clarity, and as it's one of the cheaper headsets, it makes for a great value. A couple of minor gripes. When turning the headset off, sometimes it seems as though it is not really off, i.e. after a day or so without using, I need to recharge. Also the volume controls are a little strange, in as much as a quick press seems to do nothing, while holding only lowers in notches. On the plus side, it is very light and comfortable. Very easy to wear for extended periods.

Summary: Great design...short range.
Comment: After getting this in the mail I charged it up as per the instructions. Paired it up with my phone and works great as long as I hold the phone within 1 (ONE) foot of the unit. Put the phone on my belt holster and it looses the signal. Hope Plantronics will honor their warranty. Thought it was a great design....good company name, maybe just one of the units made on a Monday. Will post if I get a new one from Plantronics.

Summary: Good for it's price
Comment: I purchased this through Verizon Wireless, thanks to several giftcards and a corporate discount. Now, I paid about $13 for this, but am rating this based on paying about $30, as most people will pay around $30.

Fit - It fits well enough. The "over the ear" clip isn't uncomfortable to me at all. Even with sunglasses on, though this may hinder other people. As for the earbud itself, it fits me well enough. It doesn't fit as snugly as an iPod earbud, but it seems to do it's job.

Look - I think it's a pretty good looking headset. Some of the headsets out there look pretty strange but work extremely well (jawbone). this particular one doesn't look cheap to others, nor does it handle cheaply, and seems well made.

Volume Control/Incoming sound - The toggle switch is a bit frustrating. I attempted to turn the volume up when talking to my mother, and hung up on her. The volume, in my opinion, should be able to go a little higher than it's capable of. Instead, I have to occassionally adjust the fit in my ear to make it seem louder.

Pairing - Pairing this with my new LG enV was a snap. You turn the headset on, set the phone to pairing mode, enter the access code, and you're all set.

Outgoing sound - The people I've spoken to say I sound just fine. While the "noise reduction" could be a little better on this phone, it does pretty well for the price you pay. If you want better noise reduction (using it while on a Subway for instance), you'd be better off paying the extra money for the Jawbone. If you're driving in a car with the windows up, this phone should do you well enough.

Overall - I must say, this is a fine bluetooth headset, if you're getting it for $35 or less. If you can't get it for less, I'd suggest a different headset. Noisier environments (construction yards, subways, busy city streets) won't serve this headset well. This works fine for everyday use in a normal environment (grocery store, car, office work).

Summary: Most Annoying Feature
Comment: I purchased this unit with my new Nokia through AT&T. It functions as advertised and I would probably have rated it at least as average except for a most unforgivable feature. The unit has a single rocker switch that is used for turning the unit off, accepting or canceling a call, and redialing the last number called. So I have TOO MANY times actually redialed the last number when I thought I was turning it off. I am sure I could receive electroshock therapy to correctly learn the right method, but it is not intuitive. I use the phone for business so I cannot risk annoying a customer or vendor with this idiosyncrasy.

Summary: Great Headset !
Comment: I got this little jewel in a package from radio shack. Wow i'm very impressed. You only have to talk softly for the other person to hear you. Recieving volume only has about 3 levels of adjustment but works great at low volume. If you talk loud the other person will think you are yelling.
I have this paired up with a sony W580i walkman phone which I really love.
