Summary: Poorly made and badly shipped
Comment: Now I know why it was so cheap. I received a second broken battery door after the first one arrived cracked. Both doors arrived broken. Besides the battery door being made of a flimsy plastic it was shipped in a thinly insulated envelope that didn't provide any shipping protection.
I sent the company a picture of both broken doors. They were honorable and finally refunded my money.

Comment: The treo 680 aftermarket exended battery door is a simple, elegant solution to a tough problem. How do you get a larger battery into the Treo 680?
One of the shortfalls of the Palm Treo 680 has got to be the battery life. With one of the smallest batteries of the Treo series, and a strong processor with the super Palm OS 5 Browsing capabilities, the 680 burns out of battery rather quickly. I've been lucky enough to realize that the larger 1800 mAh batteries and the double-life 1800 mAh aftermarket batteries for the 650 will also fit in the 680 with an extended back like this. This is significant because a lot of cell shops are dumping their 650 stock (I, for one, got a pair of brand new 1800 mAh batteries for $10 total!) and this necessitates a larger door, which this comes in nicely. Rather than having to purchase a second 1200 mAh Battery to fit in the small well, I figured I could just get an inexpensive extended battery door to fit over the larger batteries. I own a Treo, obviously size doesn't mean that much. For less than five dollars shipped, I picked this baby up, and it matches the case nearly perfectly. Works like a charm. I heartily recommend it for any Treo 680 owner.

Comment: Got this for my treo 680. I am using a battery from my 650. It fits and extends battery life 25-50%. Save money and buy a 650 battery instead of extended life for 680. They are the same thing. This cover is well made. The color is wearing off a bit after a month of use. But it's ok as it's on the back of my phone. I have an arctic white model and it blends in well. If you have a grey one, should be perfect match.
