It was marked exactly like the original phone battery down to the holograms so I suspect it was actually an LG battery. It was less than 1/12 the cost of the same item purchased from Verizon. I can't recommend it more highly and I subsequently purchased two batteries for my boss's phone from a different manufacturer and they would have cost $160 from Verizon.
