Customer Rating: Summary: Great Price Comment: Super Great Price, and came really fast I ruined my other bluetooth so I needed a new one buying this one I paid more then half the price then my original one, Thank God for online buying. Thank You Very Much.
Customer Rating: Summary: Does the job well Comment: Well, it's California, so we all have to have hands-free operation of cell phones when we drive. I decided to get started early, and went looking in May 2008. My employer bought me an H700 for use with my BlackBerry. I'm buying one for myself now, after a RIF. I've been happy with it, more than with any of my previous headsets. All of them were wired, and the boom mics would break, so this time I went for wireless. I, too, love the flip-open and on feature, and the way the colors on the headset tell you how much battery is available. I love the way I can change which ear to use it on -- the change-over is easy.
As mentioned above, the pairing is easy.
Previous reviewers have mentioned the uneven sound and the disappointing lack of coverage more than 10 feet away. It's true that the range is annoying (altho once when I had to make an emergency call it stretched to about 12 feet, which was what was needed). Sometimes the background noise is very audible to the person on the other end, but mostly when the headset has slipped so the boom mic is further away from my face. Wind noise is a problem sometimes, but if I turn out of the wind it's no problem.
Placing a call or answering one is easy -- you press the button and use the voice dialing commands. It learned my speech patterns easily, or I learned its, whichever. Sometimes you have to press the button a couple of times to get it connected, but that's a fact of living with technology.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with this product. It gets 4 stars for the various problems mentioned, but could easily be 4 and a half.
Customer Rating: Summary: convenient but poor audio Comment: I bought this because I had temporarily lost the older Motorola I got with my phone. I keep the unit off to save the charge and like the idea of a sort of 'instant on' by flipping the boom. And sure even that works great. Don't have to hold in a button for 3-4 seconds to turn on the thing. Just open it up and by the time I have it placed on my ear it is either connecting or connected.
That being said, the quality of the audio is just awful. I don't expect high fidelity out of one of these things, but it is often garbled so much that understanding the other person takes real work. Also the distance away from the phone is very limited. Maybe I can get 10 feet and have it usable. My older Motorola and a Jabra that my daughter gave me both let me wander around the house. Only if the phone is at one end and I'm at the other do either of those begin to break up. This one, as I said, gives me a range of about 10 feet.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent! Comment: I love it! I tried the H12 and the Jawbone - people couldn't hear me, the earpieces didn't sit right, they cut people off when I was trying to answer, etc.
The H700 is simple, has great sound, people can hear me clearly, and it feels very comfortable.
Customer Rating: Summary: Moto H700-red Comment: I bought this for my wife, about a month ago. There have been no problems with this headset yet...........What Else would you expect Motorola.Very simple to set up and use.Good battery life and very quiet.
