Having been spoiled with the cradles I've used with other Palm and HP PDAs, I wanted to make sure this fit the bill. I took a chance and bought two - one for home, one for work. I must say, this was a fantastic deal. It holds the device securely and is made of a sturdy plastic. It's only drawback is the plug that's used to connect the phone to the base. It seems a little tight, and sometimes it feels as if I have to wrestle it in. This might be because of the overall design of the physical interface. It would have been nice to have a generic USB connection, but I think Verizon is married to a certain plug type. Overall, pretty good. I'd buy it again. It's a different color and little bulkier than that one, but that's not a problem. - The item I received is clearly not "Brand New." I suppose it works as a brand new one would, but it's clear from the scuffing on the bottom (and the scratch on the front) that it's been used before. This wouldn't be a point of contention, if this item's title weren't "Brand New Palm Treo ... USB Sync..." - The included AC adapter plug doesn't fit snugly into the dock. It goes in, but not all the way, as one would expect the plug to. And yes, the AC adapter cord is oddly short. You may also want to pick up an extension cord. - The description never claimed it had one, but it's important to note that the dock lacks a HotSync button. You'll need to manually navigate into the HotSync app on your Palm after plugging it in and initiate the sync that way -- so you don't get that 'plug it in and press the button' convenience that you may get with other Palm docks.
