Can't change the rating now but since it works I would give it 5 stars as it charges both the phone and a spare battery plus indicators for both as to how close it is to being charged. The first one would charge the battery while in the phone, but not in the slot for battery only. Same with the second one. Third time was the charm, though. (We really wanted to be able to charge a battery without having to have it in the phone.) Obviously, I spent too much in shipping back the defective units, but I bought it from the same seller (BargainCell) from a different website - a popular auction site. The seller wouldn't give me a refund, so I made him keep sending new units until I got one that actually worked. I've had it for about 6 months now and it works like a charm. Bottom line: I'm glad to have a working unit, but probably wouldn't have paid for shipping 3 times just to get it if I had know ahead of time that the factory does such poor quality control that 2 out of 3 (in my case) wouldn't work properly.
