Customer Rating: Summary: Works for LG Chocolate Comment: I bought this, like many, to plug my headphones or car input jack into my new cell phone.
Yes, this product works for the LG Chocolate (2). Great stereo sound quality and an excellent fit. I've been using this regularly for a month and have had no problems. None. Cheap price, great shipping...
Customer Rating: Summary: Works great for all 2.5mm jack phones Comment: Works Great. I use it with my 3.5mm headphones to listen to mp3s on my cell phone. It also supports stereo headphones with mic, but normal headphone connection works for stereo listening.
Customer Rating: Summary: Finally can use my phone as a music player Comment: In order to understand my review, let me give you a little background.
So I have an RSS feed of slickdeals.net on my iGoogle homepage... I see micro SD cards for an amazing deal so I buy one. I don't own anything that uses micro SD cards, save for my phone, but I bought one anyway since I believed it was a great deal!
Of course, I'm about to upgrade my phone to the LG Rumor since my girlfriend uses Sprint and I used to have a Verizon phone (and I'm a heavy texter). I finally get my phone and I'm satisfied with it, and thought I could buy some Sprint earphones to listen to music, but those earphones had HORRIBLE quality for listening to music. Great for making calls since you don't need any frequency past 300 Hz, but the earphones easily had a low frequency response. So I search for some good quality 2.5 mm headsets, but even around forums, those who seem to have good credibilty advise to buy a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm converter.
One poster who knows his 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm converters led me to this item, and I bought it without hesitation. It arrived today and I immediately tested it out. I have one word to say... Awesome.
I plugged in my old Philips SHS3201/37 (white) earphones, which I've loved since I got them, and they worked as well as they would be working with my iPod. I am completely satisfied with these, and I am also upgrading my earphones to Sennheiser CX300 earphones since I read that these were good cheap (<$[...]) earphones. And with that, I don't need my iPod anymore.
With that, I recommend these to ANYONE who wants to listen to music on their phone as long as it's compatible with 2.5 mm headsets.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not for Cingular 2125 & 8125 Comment: Nice little adaptor, but it only carries the left channel from my 2125. The specs for the plug are different for those phones, maybe for others as well.
Customer Rating: Summary: Simple and awsome.I use it daily. I should have purchased two. Comment: I love this adapter. I can plug my phone into my home stereo and listen to my music. It's awesome!

The Headset Adapter allows you to convert and use stereo headsets to listen to music. Not for use as a hands free product.
