Summary: A suitable replacement
Comment: The first time I needed to replace my antenna, it was as a result of throwing my cell phone across the room. The second time was regular wear-and-tear as a result of wearing my phone in my watch pocket on my jeans. Both stubby replacement antennas have performed perfectly well in terms of reception. It is unfortunate, though, that one of them broke after only about 6 months of use. Additionally, the paint on the shaft of the antenna is not of as high quality as the original - it scrapes off quite readily during normal use.
Really, though, if you're viewing this product, you're probably just like I was - in need of a new antenna in a hurry. If that's the case, order one on 2-day shipping and be done with it; everything's made to be broken in this world we live in anyway.
